19 youth participants from the private sector, academic and private individuals received their certificates at the Closing Ceremony for the 10th Youth Exposure Programme for High-Tech Agriculture. It took place this afternoon at the Post Harvest Training and Service Centre, Agricultural Development Area Office, Kampung Tungku.

On hand to present the certificates was Awang Abuzar bin Haji Mohd Tahir, Acting Director of Agriculture and Agri-Food. Throughout the programme, participants attended briefing sessions and placements at selected farms. Topics shared included investment opportunities in agriculture, hydroponic and fertigation technology, and disease control. The nine-day programme was an initiative of the Department of Agriculture and Agri-food, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism in encouraging youth participation in the agricultural sector.
